Wells Pianos organizes, sponsors and supports the Twin Cities Polish Festival's Chopin Celebration Concert geared toward showcasing young talent in MN. The concert gives gifted young people as well as aspiring professionals and teachers a chance to show off their artistry and professionalism.

Wells Pianos was proud to sponsor the Twin Cities Opera Guild's annual scholarship fund-raising event by providing a Sauter Delta model piano. Sauter is our flagship line here at Wells Pianos (about 90 grands a year are made entirely by hand in Germany) and we really wanted to show our appreciation for their involvement in the community by giving the best the world has to offer. 2010 OPERA EDUCATION PROJECTS:

Dr. Lynn Trapp holds a distinguished career as concert organist, liturgical pianist, conductor, composer and liturgist, and has gained a national and international reputation for his work. Through his many concert appearances, publications, awards, and clinician work he is highly respected as performer, director and composer.

Park Square is nonprofit theatre that has enhanced the community of downtown St. Paul through cultural and educational engagement for over forty years.

The impact is extremely positive, with people coming together for artistic appreciation. Through its continual involvement in the community, Park Square remains committed to entertainment and education.

The productions features Director Timothy Frey, and stars actors Michael Pearce Donley and Peter Vitale.

Piano recitalist Craig Randal Johnson will present a program of Finnish, French and German music in the restored art gallery of the Hill House. House tours will be available following the recital. The program includes Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109; Debussy’s "Reflects dans l'eau"/"Reflections on the Water;" Kokkonen’s "Five Bagatelles," and rarely heard works by Leevi Madetoja and Hanns Eisler. Johnson is a piano recitalist/accompanist, conductor and double bassist. He has performed across the United States as Finlandia Foundation "Performer of the Year."

Stunning performer Denis Evstuhin performs a solo recital at the Russian Museum of Art. Denis will be performing on a rare Sauter piano provided by Wells Pianos. Remaining seats are limited. Reservations required.

Born 7 February 1981 in Sankt Petersburg. Graduate of the Nikolay Rimski-Korsakov Conservatory in Sankt Petersburg, where he studied with Eduard Bazanov. Continues his musical training with Alexander Braginski at the Minnesota State University School of Music.

His artistic pursuits include numerous recitals and concerts with orchestras and prizes in international piano competitions in Russia and North America. Some of his performances have been recorded on CD's and are often played on Russian and American TV and radio.
