The following is regarding a Wells Pianos warranty, not a manufacturers warranty. Your purchase may or may not include a Wells Pianos warranty. If you purchased a new piano with a warranty, that is a manufacturers warranty. No used, rebuilt, or restored piano will have a manufacturers warranty. No new piano will have a Wells Pianos warranty. Purchases have no warranties expressed or implied unless written on the invoice with a matching serial number. All warranties written on invoices are subject to the terms herein.
Wells Pianos warrants that if your piano purchased from us is found, upon authorized inspection, to have a defect in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, Wells Pianos, through its authorized dealer or agent will supply necessary parts and labor for the designated warranty period of your piano.
This warranty service is available to the original owner only, and only when the piano is purchased from Wells Pianos or an authorized representative. Any charges for transportation to and from a repair or shipping facility are the responsibility of the customer.
Warranty service on a piano purchased from Wells Pianos may be provided by Wells Pianos, or agent, authorized for that purpose. Wells Pianos requires prior authorization for any repairs under warranty and reserves the right to repair or replace any defective parts, at the sole discretion of Wells Pianos during the warranty period.
Warranty service is limited to the fifty states of the USA, the District of Columbia, and Canada. There are no other warranties from Wells Pianos of any kind, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall Wells Pianos be liable for any loss or damage, direct, consequential, accidental, or incidental arising from the use of, the inability to use the piano unless deemed otherwise by state law. In the event your piano is judged by Wells Pianos to be defective in workmanship and or materials, your sole remedy is the repair or remedy stated in this warranty.
Please be prepared to provide proof of purchase, and a detailed explanation of the problem or issue in question to obtain warranty service. The warranty does not apply to soundboard, plate, normal maintenance such as tuning, voicing, regulation, or the repair of normal wear, finish, string replacement and any add on electronic devices. Furthermore, this warranty does not apply to damage caused by abnormal strain, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, exposure to environmental conditions such as extremes in light, temperature or humidity, an act of God, improper service or modifications. This warranty is void if the serial number has been defaced altered or destroyed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary state to state. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.
