Golden era pre-war Steinway Model A2 build in process:
- New nitrocellulose lacquer finish – completed
This piano will receive:
- New action, hammers, shanks, flanges, backchecks
- New comprehensive key work, including new balance and front rail bushings, underfelt, tops and more
- New soundboard – old growth Sitka spruce, fully dimensionalized and tapered, finished with hand-made shellac for better stability
- New pinblock
- New bridges carved
